Materialise Build Processor Enables Users to Get the Most Out of SLM Solutions Metal 3D Printers

Similar to the way printer drivers on computers give feedback on 2D print jobs, Materialise's build processors give the operator of 3D printers more control over their 3D print jobs

This is ideal for those running factories for 3D printing for two main reasons. The first is due to the seamless data flow, which allows for maximum ease of use. Another key benefit is the two-way communication between software and the 3D printer. In essence, the build processor does not just tell the machine what to do, but also allows the machine to give feedback so it's easy for the operator to trace and store data on specific jobs.

With Materialise's SLM Build Processor, users of SLM Solutions' range of metal 3D printers, who are typically found in aerospace, the energy sector, healthcare and automotive manufacturing, will see an improved user experience.
