Materialise Launches AnatomyPrint, Delivering 3D-Printed Models Directly to Medical Professionals
PLYMOUTH, Michigan – Nov. 28, 2016. Materialise NV (Nasdaq: MTLS), a world leading 3D printing solutions provider, has launched AnatomyPrint, an easy-to-use service for medical professionals that delivers 3D printed anatomical models directly to their doorsteps. The new service was launched during the 2016 RSNA Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting at McCormick Place in Chicago.
Materialise offers a full suite of medical 3D printing solutions, including medical 3D printing software, high-end anatomical model for surgical preparation and planning, and printing services including segmentation and design services. AnatomyPrint now completes this set of tools for the medical industry, providing a simple and fast way to obtain 3D printed models.
AnatomyPrint users simply upload an STL file and choose their preferred material, and Materialise will deliver a high-quality, 3D printed anatomical model. These Class 1 medical devices can be used for visualization, for communication with patients and other physicians as well as educational purposes. This service improves access to 3D printed anatomical models by allowing radiologists, clinicians and other medical professionals to quickly and easily obtain models without the cost of purchasing their own 3D printer.

Carestream, a worldwide provider of dental and medical imaging systems and IT solutions, also announced that it will collaborate with Materialise during the 2016 RSNA annual meeting, leveraging the new AnatomyPrint service to improve access to 3D printed anatomical models for its customers in the medical industry.
AnatomyPrint can be seen on display during RSNA at the Materialise exhibit, located at booth #7808 in North Hall B and at the Carestream exhibit, located at booth #4704 in South Hall A.
