Materialise to Introduce a Suite of Software and Solutions for 3D Printing in Hospitals at the AAOS Annual Meeting – Booth 3781

LEUVEN, Belgium--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 24, 2016-- Materialise NV (NASDAQ:MTLS) announced today that they will be showcasing a full suite of software and solutions for 3D printing within hospitals at AAOS, the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeon’s Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida: March 1-5, booth 3781. Introduced for the first time at the AAOS Annual Meeting, this Suite brings together medical software and services into a neutral platform that facilitates the further integration of 3D planning and printing into hospitals. Also launched as part of the Suite will be a new software solution that enables surgeons to 3D print accurate medical models in hospitals.

Visitors to booth 3781 are invited to discover Materialise Medical’s integrated range of software and solutions, with which hospitals can:

  • Create detailed pre-operative plans from digital x-ray images
  • Master the preparation of files for 3D printing
  • Treat complex cases with 3D-printed anatomical models, and patient-specific guides and implants
  • Integrate virtual planning and 3D printing into their surgical workflow, from straightforward cases to the most complex.
